Yes. This course is designed for students with no background in SEO or Web Development. For newbies with no background in SEO, we recommend taking the Beginners SEO Course. You can always upgrade to the Advanced SEO course later.
This course is for freelancers who want to become SEO Specialists as well as business owners that want to do SEO on their own websites.
The lessons are located on our University page can be accessed whenever you want. We know that students are busy and have different schedules, so we created this course with time flexibility in mind.
However, that does not mean we are unavailable for consultation. We have an exclusive Facebook group for students where you can freely communicate with instructors and fellow students. You can also directly message our Facebook messenger anytime of the day.
We also hold live sessions depending on the demand (i.e., if 15 students requested for a live coaching session)
You will get a certificate and a badge once you completed the course and passed the final assessment. You can use the certificate and badge as your portfolio anywhere since we are DTI registered.
Using a laptop or desktop is highly recommended because there will be tasks like building your portfolio website, but you can still take the course through a mobile phone. However, you will miss out on the practical aspects of the course, which is half the fun. 🙂
Please check out our homepage for reviews and information about this course. You can also check out our blog for free content on how to become an SEO Specialist.
We update our courses once a year to keep up with industry standards and we have a few minor updates sprinkled throughout the year (read here and here for last year's updates).
We teach the foundations of SEO, and these things are usually constant most of the time. Things like proper link outreach or writing well-written, optimized content for human consumption have been roughly the same for many years.
It's people who take shortcuts or take the "gray-hat" approach to SEO that needs to be wary of Google's constantly changing rules because their tactics only work for the short term.
While we do teach advanced techniques from time to time, we internally test these on our websites first, then use them on our client's websites second. Only then do we think about teaching this to our students.
Here's a quick video (1:51) on how to register for your first course. The full article can be found here.
