Here's another success story from our course, courtesy of Adrian a recent graduate of the Complete Course.
Adrian enrolled in December 2022 and received his certificate by March 6, 2023. A little more than 1 month later, on April 14, 2023, Adrian was hired as a Content specialist by a marketing agency in Singapore.

Can you give us a short intro about yourself? What are you currently doing?
Adrian: I am Adrian Montales, a freelancer. I'm an undergraduate and supposedly a third-year college student, but since the pandemic hit we're forced to switch to online learning which I find ineffective.
As a result, I decided to pause my studies and find a job instead. I tried several jobs before stumbling upon the world of freelancing, which I had no idea existed. It captivated me and worked hard to get in, enrolling in online courses to develop my skills.
After trying different niches, I discovered that search engine optimization is the right fit for me, so I aspired to be an SEO specialist in the Philippines. I love the satisfaction it brings when you see your campaigns succeed.
Why do you want to pursue a career in SEO?
Adrian: I derive a great sense of satisfaction when I see campaigns succeed, and I envision myself pursuing this career for a long time.
Let’s talk about your experience with our course first. How did you find out about SEO Training Philippines?
Adrian: When I decided to pursue a career in SEO, I realized that enrolling in an online course could give me an in-depth understanding of search engine optimization. While searching for courses online, I noticed that SEO Training Philippines (STPH) ranked high in the search engine results pages (SERPs).
This made me consider them as a potential option, as their high ranking suggested that they were skilled in search engine optimization themselves.
I found that STPH provided a comprehensive online SEO course in the Philippines. I learned a lot from them and have already applied the knowledge to my own website.
Their strategies have proven to be effective, and they also provide good after-support when needed. I highly recommend this course to anyone who aspires to become an SEO specialist like myself.
What made you decide that this is a course that you’d like to take? I’m sure you saw a few other courses along the way.
Adrian: I chose this course because when I searched for an online course on SERPs, STPH ranked at the top of the results, indicating their expertise in SEO. Additionally, I took into account the positive testimonials about the course.
How difficult was the course for you? We made the course as comprehensive as we can, so it’s quite long and definitely not for everybody.
Adrian: If you have a passion for SEO, this course is not difficult at all. The learning materials are engaging, and the videos are not boring to watch.
Adrian's passion to learning SEO was evident through the many questions we received via email.
How many job listings did you apply to?
Adrian: I don't usually apply for job listings that are beyond what I can do as a newbie. I think I would only apply two to three listings on Online Jobs PH per day.
Pro Tip: Don't hesitate to ask for tips before your big interview!
Did you use our cover email templates as-is, did you make any changes, or did you use your own?
Adrian: Yes, I use the first part of the template, but I did make changes to it because I'm a beginner and I don't have enough yet details to put just like on the template.
If I may ask, what is your current rate for your clients?
Adrian: Since I am a beginner. I accept[ed] the starting salary of $350 per month. I just don't want to make them expect higher on my skills. As long as possible I keep myself real to clients.
Instructors' Note: While $350/month is on the lower end of my personal salary expectations, it's a good starting point to build funds for when/if Adrian wants to return to college.
Now that you’ve officially entered the SEO industry, what are your career plans in the near future, say, in 1-2 years?
Adrian: I am looking forward to growing more and developing my skills as an SEO so I to be able to grab bigger opportunities.
Before I end this interview, do you have any words of inspiration for SEO beginners like you?
Adrian: I would like to encourage everyone to pursue their dreams and never give up, even in the face of rejection. Instead, let rejection be a motivator to become stronger and better than before. Remember that diamonds are formed under pressure.
