Here's another success story from our student, who was able to negotiate a $2,400/month salary as an SEO Specialist.

Ace started as a link builder for a well-known SEO agency, but he wasn't happy with the salary; he wanted more.

As of writing, Ace is still tendering his resignation from his soon-to-be former company. For his next work, he'll be working as an SEO Specialist earning more than double his previous salary.
Lessons Learned
I've learned three things in my encounter with Ace.
First, do not settle for less. This is something that I've learned from Ace too! If it were me, I would have asked for $12-$13 per hour, just so I can 100% seal the deal.
But Ace upended my expectations and asked for $15 per hour. And it worked! This just goes to show that you shouldn't undersell yourself (and I still learn something new everyday!)
Second, don't hesitate to ask for help. Despite being in the SEO industry and have worked for a major SEO company, Ace didn't hesitate to ask questions on how he should approach the negotiation table.
And third, upskilling is the only way to increase your worth - And lastly, learning new skills is the only way to increase your value as a freelancer. So, don't let yourself stagnate and take every opportunity you can to grow your career.
