Over the past year, students as well as inquiries on our Facebook page have been asking us if we offer some sort of OJT or on-the-job training.
We always say no to this question, but it has always been in our minds to offer this feature to our students. After all, the goal is to become the best SEO training course for Filipinos.
Why we launched an Apprenticeship Program (Objectives)
As I’ve already said, we want to become the best SEO training course for Filipinos. This is not a PR statement, but something we always strive to become. In fact, we won an award for it! But that’s a story for another post.
That said, here’s why we launched the Apprenticeship Program (AP):
To obtain valuable hands-on training on agency-level SEO tasks.
Particularly on:
- Keyword research
- Content writing
- On-page optimization
- Link outreach
We don’t want our graduates to be theoretical geniuses but have zero clue about the actual implementation of those theories, so we decided to offer this program
To help our students gain more confidence in real-life SEO implementation
One of the reasons why some students are not able to land a job despite passing preliminary interviews is that they’re not confident enough that their theoretical SEO knowledge will translate into actual SEO success. Or they’re worried that they might ruin their clients’ websites.
So what better way to solve that problem than by creating an environment where they can implement what they’ve learned safely and without fear of repercussions?
Creating an Apprenticeship Program is easier said than done, however.

The challenge lies in creating a program that:
We’re not the type to half-heartedly release new features just to entice new enrollees and pad our bottom line, so we stayed quiet for a few months while we brainstormed and worked our butts off behind the scenes. This was back in July 2022.
Finally after 3 months, in October 2022, we were confident enough to tease the Apprenticeship Program as part of the Ultimate Package, enabling early enrollees to get first dibs on the program.
Why Should You Enroll Early?
While the Apprenticeship Program is still a few months away before launch, early enrollees will enjoy cheaper enrollment fees.
Initially, the Ultimate Course was decided to remain at ₱6,500 even after the Apprenticeship Program’s launch.
However, once the program took shape we realized it’s not just a module, but a separate course on its own with its own SOPs and worksheets!
Saying it’s a massive update is an understatement.
We’re not big fans of price increases, but to keep our operation sustainable, we have to increase the enrollment fee of the Ultimate Course by 10% (from ₱6,500 to ₱7,150) once the Apprenticeship Program is launched.

If you’re new to SEO, we actually DO NOT recommend enrolling in the Ultimate Package right away. You can start with the Basic Course to get a feel of how the lessons are being taught. If you want to pursue your education further, you can upgrade anytime to the Complete or the Ultimate Course.
So, when’s the release date?
Just to clarify, the Apprenticeship Program is about 60% done. We do have a website already that you can use for the program and building that took a couple of months.

That said, we’ll be able to officially launch the Apprenticeship Program in February-March 2023.

Who’s Qualified?
The SEO Training Philippine’s Apprenticeship program is only available to the following students:

If you are not qualified, you can still participate in the Apprenticeship Program by upgrading to the Ultimate Course.
How is the program run?
The Apprenticeship Program (AP) is self-paced and organized by task. This allows the students to gain valuable experience on their own time.
The AP will introduce free tools that you can use. We'll talk about this on a later update, but these are just browser extensions that you can install.
What do I need to participate in the program?
We designed the AP so that students without premium tools can still participate. You only need the following:
Can I participate with a phone?
Unfortunately, some tasks cannot be completed with just a smartphone.
Will I get a certificate?
Yes, participants in the AP will get a separate certificate. That means you get two certificates if you pass the Course AND the Apprenticeship Program!
